Visa Interview Wait Times by Embassy & Consulate
Estimated visa interview appointment wait times at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide, sourced from the State Department's Global Visa Wait Times page.
Visa interview appointment wait times vary widely by embassy or consulate post. This page shows the U.S. State Department's own published estimates for how long applicants are currently waiting at each post, refreshed periodically from the State Department's Global Visa Wait Times page.
About the "Petition-Based" column
The State Department reports one combined wait time for H-1B, L-1, O-1, P, and Q visas together — it does not publish an O-1-specific figure. Treat that column as a reasonable proxy for O-1 appointment availability at a given post, not an exact O-1 number.
