1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of trylando.com (the "Site") and any guides, tools, or consultations we offer (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Not legal advice

The information on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Reading our articles, downloading our guides, or completing the eligibility check does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Lando. Immigration matters depend on your specific facts and current USCIS practice, always consult a licensed immigration attorney about your individual case before making decisions.

Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Approval rates and processing times we cite are based on data available at the time of writing and may change.

3. The free guide and the eligibility check

The O-1 Visa guide is provided "as is" for informational purposes. The eligibility check uses publicly available LinkedIn data and an automated AI assessment to suggest which O-1 criteria may apply to your profile. The output is a non-binding preliminary assessment, not a legal opinion. Final assessment of any case requires a full review by a licensed attorney.

4. Fee-back guarantee

If USCIS denies a petition that Lando has filed for you (an O-1, L-1, E-1, E-2, P-1 or P-2 petition), Lando refunds its fee for that petition. The same terms apply to each visa Lando files, at the flat fee published for that visa on the pricing page. USCIS government filing fees (for example the Form I-129 fee and the optional premium processing fee) are paid to USCIS, are not part of Lando's fee, and are not covered by this guarantee. Responses to a Request for Evidence (RFE) are included in the fee at no additional cost.

Lando only files petitions it believes are ready. No one can promise an outcome that USCIS decides, and nothing on this site guarantees that a petition will be approved. To request a refund, write to hello@trylando.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Site's operation.
• Use the Site to send spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this Site, including text, logos, graphics, articles, the O-1 Visa guide, and software, is owned by Lando or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and download materials for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, or sale, requires our prior written permission.

7. Third-party links and services

Our Site links to third-party websites (USCIS, BLS, eCFR, and similar government and professional resources) for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lando and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to fifty U.S. dollars (US$50), except that this limit does not reduce Lando's obligation to refund its fee under section 4 (Fee-back guarantee).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lando from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
